Whatnot Jewelry Auction Recap: Crystal Stash Night

If you weren't on my Whatnot live on Thursday, October 15, you missed a treasure hunt. I cleaned house this week and found a stash of supplies I forgot I owned, so I dragged it all to the desk and turned it into jewelry while you watched. Every piece started at $1 with sudden death bidding, and by the end of the night I had sold 40 pieces.

Here's what you missed

I kicked things off with real citrine teardrops I bought years ago, back before I figured out my style, back during the FAB days and told a story of a failed design project. I strung each one on hair thin beading wire as a tiny necklace, and I finally got them out of my drawer and on to people!

Next came chunky translucent white clouds with big fluorescent pink and orange lightning bolts on hoops. Somebody on Instagram has been asking me to bring back my cloud earrings with the bolt that slides in and out, and I figured out a striking solution to the problem of the middle piece.

I strung found AB crystals with a little crystal skull in the middle into a bracelet made to the winner's length. I made pink and green candy necklaces from the extra candies I cut for my daughter's Halloween costume. I also patched a chipped crystal with tiny AB crystals and a hidden star and turned it into a one of a kind sorceress ring. That one was really unique! 

Then I put together a skeleton holding two teeny knives, and it was every bit as murdery as it sounds. I did a speed run of charms too, with a glow in the dark gummy bear, a holo ballerina, pink cowboy boots, a silver glitter velociraptor, a pineapple and a sterling silver seashell so tiny you could barely see it on camera.

For the grand finale I turned giant crystal hearts I have been hoarding for years into earrings and made a juicy red crystal villain ring that looks like Jafar would wear it. We came up wit ha cool band name that sadly I forgot! I also auctioned a pair of my 2 inch butcher knife studs. I also ran a giveaway for a mystery bag and dusted off my old gashapon capsule machine, which I am dying to use on future shows.

On my list for next time

"Stay feral" earrings, another round of Books n Bands, and maybe a crystal show once I go shopping for more crystals. Chat had great ideas like a plant on a book, Fourth Wing dragons and a see through book that opens.
