Whatnot Jewelry Auction Recap: Mystery Spins and a 54 Lot Charm Frenzy
My Whatnot live on Thursday, October 29 got off to a rocky start. The first stream glitched, I was trying to use OBS software so I started over, and then I made it all the way to 54 lots, way past my usual. If you missed it, here's the damage. My computer and phone had to compete for the power chord and it was a Beta night all around.
Here's what you missed
I debuted the mystery spin. You buy a spin, I drop a token in my little capsule machine, and out pops a capsule of random charms that I turn into a bracelet, a necklace or clip on charms. I only packed 10 spins, so I was filling extra capsules on the fly, and the combos were gloriously chaotic. One had a glow in the dark taco, a midnight key, pink sunglasses and a crouching monkey which turned out to be a fan face!

I also auctioned off my Medusa prototypes. One sold as a necklace on chunky staple chain, and the other is a single piece with purple eyes. I LOST one of the prototypes and where I found it days later will make you die laughing.

Then I did a 10 second charm speed run. Auctions for just 10 seconds, what a whirlwind! I positioned the camera overhead and just wizzed through them like a banshee. A heart lock, a switchblade, a Sriracha bottle, a glow in the dark Ouija board, a glitter gold middle finger, a black light reactive ray gun, a tiny pink dog, a sleepy kitty, a bloody boba, bats, a witch's finger, baby ghost bobby pins, a tiny comb, a wooden sand dollar and a killer whale all found new homes in seconds. I also made "I <3" charm sets, so you can add whatever you love and these were more popular than I expected!

Before the night was over I made rainbow bolo bracelets with gummy bears and glitter stars, a crystal earring and ring set, iridescent and pink skeleton earrings, and iridescent bubble wand studs. If you need knives right now, my Teeny Tiny 1/2" Chef's Knife Earrings in Gold and Mini Knife Hair Clips are always on the website.

Fun news for subscribers too. If you join the Statement Earring Society now, your first box is the Krampus box, cut off Nov. 25th.

On my list for next time
Chat came through with ideas, so I wrote down a skeleton mermaid, a Death's Head Moth with a crystal skull, a skeleton giraffe and dragon, skeleton hands with holes so they can hold charms, and gingerbread house earrings for the holidays. Come see which ones show up first!
