Our Top 9 B2B Custom Design Projects

Yes, we are known for our jewelry, but did you know that we also take on custom design and manufacturing jobs for commercial clients? It’s true. This is our business to business (B2B) custom design portfolio, but in a hopefully less boring way.
There’s way more hotels, restaurants, bands/performers, festivals and corporations that we’ve made merchandise for, but for now let’s just highlight a handful of the B2B custom projects that we can somewhat recollect. In no particular order, here are eleven of businesses that we have made custom signage, merchandise, decor and more for.
Around 2013, we were commissioned by Austin’s Franklin BBQ to design and manufacture branded wood charcuterie plates for a major outdoor event. These drink and snack plates are probably in a storage room covered in brisket grease and BBQ sauce. We hope so anyway.

Through a liaison, we worked indirectly with the vacation rental marketplace, HomeAway, to fully brand their Austin headquarters with signage, custom lighting fixtures and office decor. Probably the coolest piece we worked on was a custom pendant lamp in the shape of HomeAway’s logo, which was essentially a 3D birdhouse. The head honcho of HomeAway also commissioned us to convert one pendant lamp into a table lamp just before HomeAway dissolved into VRBO. We were also involved with the VRBO rebranding. We developed a VRBO logo sign for the main entry area, cubical signage, and interior flourishes around the VRBO corporate offices.

3. Uchi
In 2013, we designed and manufactured custom VIP gift cards for the upscale, non-traditional Japanese restaurant, Uchi. We engraved Uchi's signature floral pattern onto Baltic birch wood. We made a limited run of these for, you guest it, VIP members.

Wild Turkey® had us transform their Wild Turkey® logo into a mighty fine drink pick for an event that was hosted by Matthew McConaughey (I’m never gonna spell that correctly without a spellcheck assist). This Wild Turkey® drink stirrer would look swell in your next Old Fashioned or Manhattan.

We can also make awards! This solid clear acrylic award for Austin Film Society has “Lights, Cameras, Action!” on it, but we can’t for the life of us remember what the award was for. We actually made ourselves an honorary AIBA Armadillo Award for just simply being nominated (and losing to some other small business. lol)
We’ve outfitted Brownwood, Texas’ The Turtle restaurant with wall decor, restroom door signage, custom menus and ice cream jigs for their gelateria/food service.

7. Sweet Ritual
We collaborated with this vegan ice cream business by co-designing a totally ‘80s-inspired waffle cone holder. Amanda heat bent the pink acrylic to give the appearance of melted ice cream.

8. Patron
Patron asked us if we could manufacture a drink stencils with the Patron bee logo for a special event they were throwing. Amanda designed the stencil with a handle so the bartender can easily remove the stencil without disturbing the drink or the pattern on top of the dressed up bevy.

9. Puscifer
For the rock band Puscifer, we went back to doing what we’re known for–jewelry. We translated their logo, which is a cross between an alien-goat-ram-like creature and designed necklaces and earrings out of mirror silver acrylic with stainless steel findings.
