The Secret to Cleaning Your Vinca Jewelry

Oh, hey there! You obviously have sharp style and probably have a pair or two of earrings covered in funky ear cheese 🤢. Bacteria can cause infection so you're gonna wanna thoroughly clean your wares after you wear them. Take care of your Vinca jewelry (and accessories) and they will take care of you (in compliments from complete strangers). Keep your earrings clean and keep yourself healthy!

Before we dive into cleaning your favorite pair of Chef's Knife earrings, let's talk about what products NOT to use to clean your favorite pair of Chef's Knife earrings.

DON'T USE:
  • Window cleaner
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Acetone/nail polish remover
  • Bleach
  • Ammonia

Pretty simple. Don't use these products or products containing chemicals used in these products on your Vinca jewelry. This will mar the surface of those cute mushroom earrings that you just bought and that would deeply suck.

INSTEAD, USE THESE:

  • Soap
  • Water

A dishwashing detergent works best to degrease and remove that gross gunk on your jewelry and hair accessories. If you must buy a cleaner for your ear threaders, we recommend Empire's Tarnish Remover. Be sure to protect your mitts and pop on some vinyl gloves before you dip yourself pristine.
