The Vinca Gang's Favorite Things at Blue Genie Art Bazaar

Have you made it out to Blue Genie Art Bazaar in Austin, TX yet? If not, you definitely should. At Blue Genie you can shop the floor for locally produced gifts from a broad range of handmade goods including accessories, screen printed prints, apparel, candles and so much more. In no particular order, here's some of our favorites currently showcasing their goods at the best little handmade gift show in Texas. 

The Pink Samurai

We're certified cat lovers here at Vinca. In fact, the boss just picked up this adorable gingerbread kitty enamel pin collaboration between The Pink Samurai and Em & Sprout. Doesn't it just make you overwhelming happy?! My cold, black heart just warmed up, turned to a healthy pink hue and grew two sizes. It's a must-have stocking stuffer for the holiday season.

SuperMaggie

We love these screen printing superstars! SuperMaggie creates designs from her photography and original drawings. Choose your favorite design on a pillow, print, t-shirt, leggings, a dress or a onesie. My personal favorite is the sinister Doll Face design on the Sid Fleece Sweatshirt in heather gray. If creepy dolls with fangs aren't quite your thing then take your pick from a large selection of animals, floral, fruit and abstract graphics.

Well, of course we have to mention ourselves. We stocked our booth with exclusive seasonal items that were only available on ModCloth.com. You can also find various custom items not available at VincaUSA.com. The Burlap Bag

Looking for some heavenly-smelling candles with silly names for your or your friend's space? Then this is your booth. These soy-based candles are environmentally friendly and vegan. Quick note: these candles don't exactly imitate their monikers. Case in point, King of Farts. This candle features hints of tobacco and wood notes to mask yo smelly arse. Take a sniff around their booth and pick yourself a winner. Our shop is currently burning the Bag's best-selling, cotton candy-scented, Unicorn Puke.

Do you have a plant person on your list or a person that loves dinosaurs as much as us? These dinosaur planters from The Plaid Pigeon are super fun and add a pop of color and whimsy to your home. We're mad for the metallic T-Rex.

Got a friend that desperately needs some prints for their bland, off-white, artless walls? Tim Doyle and Co. are it, friends. Look for Doyle's UnReal Estate series and his print homages to film and T.V. And may our Lord and Savior Bowie help you, because,

BDJ Craftworks

Here's some more decor for ya. BDJ Craftworks invoke fine craftsmanship and modern, sleek design. We've have one of these gorgeous walnut and resin vases in the shop. It's just nice to have fresh wildflowers around every once in a while or when it's winter, a pen at the ready.
